NAWL 17th General Counsel Institute
Wednesday, November 10, 2021 to Friday, November 12, 2021
Category: National Organizations/Events

The National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) is hosting its 17th General Counsel Institute on November 10-12, 2021. This virtual conference will focus on “Women Leading the Way: Finding Courage, Commitment, and Connection in Times of Change.” In these unprecedented times of crisis and opportunity, women lawyers are being asked to do more than ever before. A changing global landscape, a renewed focus on social justice and even new ways of working are transforming our profession, our workplaces and our communities. As leaders we can do more than simply adjust to the new normal. NAWL’s General Counsel Institute will focus on providing the tools we need not only to survive, but thrive — by reinforcing our courage to face new challenges, our commitment to the profession and our connections with each other. GCI is a multi-day program of networking, education and inspiration designed for senior in-house women counsel. Sessions with the general counsel of major corporations and other inspirational speakers foster frank, collegial discussions about career advancement, while workshops on key topics with leading experts provide opportunities to refine skills and expertise. GCI provides a unique environment to connect with other women counsel, share the highs and lows of in-house life and build legal and leadership skills.
